How to select a counsellor/psychotherapist

Please click on any of the tags that apply to your situation:

  • Age of person seeking help
  • Number of people seeking help
  • Issues you need help with

Your selection will appear below. These are the counsellors and psychotherapists working at Lifeways who are qualified to help you.

Next Steps:

  • Click on the counsellor/psychotherapists’ name or picture to get more information about each.
  • When you have found three or four suitable therapists, contact them directly using the contact details on their pages. Ask them about their availability and charges.
  • The therapist you choose will make all the arrangements to see you at Lifeways for a trial session at a mutually convenient time.
  • Therapy is most successful when you find it easy to talk with your therapist. You can choose another therapist or stop therapy at any stage. Our aim is your recovery, so finding the best person for you is essential.
  • If you would like further help, please call us on 01789 292 052.
  • If your need is for urgent mental health care, call 111 and ask for the NHS Mental Health Crisis Team.
