I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with 20+ years’ experience, specialising in EMDR and offering evidence-based, trauma-informed psychological therapy for adults.
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society. I work with adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and shame-related issues.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed psychological therapy, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), tailoring my work to each person’s needs.
In key leadership roles, I have supported the development of mental health and staff wellbeing services across the NHS, higher education, and local justice sector. I am also a senior lecturer, deliver Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training for organisations, an experienced MHFA instructor, and provide supervision to other professionals in reflective practice and professional development.
I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, make sense of them, and gradually build confidence and self-compassion. Whether feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wanting to enhance your emotional wellbeing, I work alongside you to navigate challenges and create positive, lasting change.
