I am a UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist with 20+ years’ experience of working in mental health care. I am down to earth and easy to talk to. I am here for you…
There are many reasons why people come to therapy. There might be something in the past or present that is troubling you, and you need some help to work it through. You may be struggling with your mental health or experiencing difficulties in relationships, or you may just have a sense of feeling stuck or confused and need help to find a way forward.
As a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist I have the training and experience to help you explore, understand and work through your difficulties. Enabling you to gain awareness, find a new perspective, and move forward with life.
My training and experience enables me to work with a broad range of issues, life situations, and mental health needs.
I work with individuals’ short term with a specific focus, or to support you through a particular life crisis. I also provide more longer-term open-ended psychotherapy.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, which enables me to tailor the therapy to your individual needs. I am down-to-earth, and offer a warm, non-judgemental and empathic relationship where you can feel truly understood and accepted.

The way I work offers sustainable solutions to mental health challenges. It is a holistic, integrative and person specific model, to support you now & in the future to thrive not just survive.
Are you struggling to cope with your thoughts and feelings?
If so, here are 3 examples of ways my sessions can help you.
• Help you understand the root cause so that any solution to help you, will be sustainable.
• Discuss and implement tools to support you beyond our sessions.
• Help you to understand how the mind, body, spirit and environment all impact on our wellbeing.
The way I work involves a holistic, integrative and person specific model for counselling.
My approach takes into account psychological theories and approaches, for example person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT as well as other disciplines, such as nutrition, and new sciences that explain the human condition, for example, psychoneuroimmunology and epigenetics. No two individuals are the same, therefore, I adapt sessions to the individual taking the journey, because there is no ‘one size fits all’.

I became a counsellor to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of the human condition. As a counsellor, I will support you through the process of change and the difficulties that come with it.
Working with me you will receive a professional and confidential service. I am a warm and empathic practitioner, but I will also challenge you by reflecting to you your discrepancies. I will make clear from the outset, that I will not solve your problems, but I will support you to make positive changes.
Although I originally trained in person centred counselling, I have a broad portfolio of continuous professional development, which means I am not restricted to just one modality and now include Psychodynamic, Systemic and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Post qualifying, I have worked with both individuals and couples, experiencing a variety of issues: anxiety, bereavement, stress, building trust, depression, infidelity, substance abuse and more.
