I provide a person centred approach in a safe and confidential environment where you can talk about how you are feeling. I will help you to better understand your emotions, work through any difficulties you may be facing, and find healthier ways to cope.
Life can feel overwhelming, and emotions such as sadness, stress, anxiety, anger, confusion or depression can be difficult to manage on your own.
Sometimes it is past experiences, or feelings from your childhood that are difficult to make sense of. Together, we may look at patterns in how you think or react to situations, and find ways to help you manage overwhelming feelings, build resilience, and improve your overall emotional wellbeing.
If appropriate, I provide Inner Child work which helps to connect with the younger part of yourself that may have experienced hurt or unmet needs. Together, we explore those early feelings and learn to give that part of you care and understanding. This helps you heal old emotional wounds, build confidence and respond to life in a healthier way.
We work together and my role is not to judge or tell you what you should do, but to listen carefully, support you, and help you explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. You remain in control of what you share and what you would like to focus on, and the goal is to help you gain greater self-awareness, clarity, and confidence in dealing with life’s challenges.

Welcome to my profile. I am an experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with a dotorate in Counselling Psychology, very near completion, working with people aged 12 and over.
Adult therapy: I support adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, anger, low self-esteen, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma, and bereavement. My doctoral research explored bullying and cyberbullying, and I have a particular interest in supporting those affected by these experiences and their longer-term impact. The number of sessions is discussed in the initial meeting; therapy is flexible and tailored to your needs, whether short-term or open-ended.
Child therapy: I have extensive experience working with children and young people, including those with special educational needs. I offer a safe, supportive space where each child can feel comfortable and understood. Following a free consultation, parents are invited to join the beginning and end of the first session to help their child settle and to begin shaping therapeutic goals together.
Sessions may include creative approaches such as art therapy alongside talking. I provide regular updates and can liaise with schools or other professionals if helpful. Children often attend around 12–15 sessions, though this varies, and progress is reviewed regularly.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join our sessions!

Offering you a calm and unconditionally supportive environment to share your concerns, whatever they may be. Working in private practice and within the NHS, my gentle and empathic presence offers unwavering support to patients suffering from emotional trauma, anxiety, grief and fear.
Within my counselling work I incorporate a gentle framework that is focused on giving you an empowered sense of emotional clarity, offering you the space to comprehend which past experiences may have been pivotal in bringing you to this point. The tools and framework I incorporate align with inner Child work, the foundations of Jungian Psychology and the principles of Psychodynamic theory - simply put, these collective tools help to identify subconscious patterns of thinking and being that can lead to dysfunctional or undermining patterns of behaviour throughout your life.
In addition to my private practice work I also work within the NHS as an Integrative Health Practitioner, supporting the work of a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Good Hope Hospital, offering patients healing, counselling and mindfulness techniques. I am located at clinics in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire and Internationally via zoom.
I have supported family through terminal illness, death and debilitating bereavement, I believe my personal life experience is equal to my professional qualifications and time in practice.
